55565 is our first keyboard project designed by Ampi.Kb and me, Which we aims to create a budget 65% Keyboard that has some hybrid mounting methods.

NAME

This keyboard called "55565". The name came from how Thai people laughing in letters (555 means hahaha or lol). To be honest, we are just blanking out when come to name this design so Ampi.Kb just asking his friend to name it for him. He was trying to troll him with this name with how Thai people mistaken press 6 while repeatedly typing 5. So, It became 55565 which perfectly combined 555 with 65% Layout.

DESIGN

The case design is a seamless screw/screwless board. We’re keeping it simple and symmetry but have some unique engraving "555" on the blocker and "55565" engraving on the bottom side. Didn't want it to be flashy but just a little twist on the blocker

LAYOUT

The plate will support split backspace, stepped Caps lock and both 6.25u and 7u Spacebar but the PCB(hot-swap) will only support 6.25u only and Full Backspace derive from our first IC in Thailand. We will consider to add solderable version if we got enough interests here.
